School of Missionary Aviation Technology

The School of Missionary Aviation Technology near Grand Rapids, Michigan offers a fifty week comprehensive FAA approved course in Airframe and Powerplant Mechanics. The program provides training and preparation for the FAA written, oral, and practical mechanics tests. Students in this program can complete general education requirements at several colleges which contract with the School of Missionary Aviation Technology for the specialized training that these colleges are unable to provide. In this way, it is possible to complete the degree requirements of these institutions. Affiliation with another college is not essential for meeting the requirements for FAA certification.

The School of Missionary Aviation Technology operates in accordance with Federal Aviation Agency regulations part 147. All instructors are fully qualified to provide instruction meeting FAA and accrediting institution standards.

The school is located at the Lowell Municipal Airport in Lowell, Michigan - a small town located approximately 15 miles east of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Feel free to visit at any time.
